1. Application field & Feature
JYG portable oil purifier is used to purify mechanical impurities in transformation oil, machinery oil, turbine oil, hydraulic oil and other lube oil for power station or transportation industry, mineral industrial transformation house lube oil depot, tractor station, petroleum, chemical industry and national defense industry, etc. It is the perfect pre-filtration equipment of turbine oil purifier and vacuum oil purifier.

The equipment can be also designed as combined oil filer and pre-filtration and fine precision filtration can be completed in the mean time.
Due to the limit of gear and device structures, the oil of high viscosity is not suitable. Special materials can be selected and special type motors equipped according to users’ requirements for the oils of no lube property such as gasoline and kerosene, etc. With high viscosity, heating device can be installed on the equipment if requested by users.
Adapted on the basis of JB/T5153-91 standard, JYG portable oil purifier is designed to be a new pressure-type oil filter. With equipped special push-type oil pump, suction height and the applied scope of oil viscosity is more than 1 time as higher as the original one. The noise gets lower than the original degree.
2. Main Structural Features
As mobile equipment, the portable oil purifier consists of double fine filter, oil transfer pump and coarse filtration device, etc.
High-precision combined stainless steel filter element is for level 2 fine filter. The element is made of stainless steel net of multi-stage different filtration precision in combination. The filtration precision increases by stages. With entering from outside and drain from inside, good filtration effect, stable performance and long life service, the highest temperature can reach 150℃. The equipment is mainly suitable for filtering particles and solid impurities in oil with additional function of damping and filtration for attached substances.
The filter element can be cleaned repeatedly and reused. The precision and effect are much better than those of filter element made of paper, fiber, and microspore plastic.
When filtration damping increases to a certain degree (generally 0.35Mpa below), purification work should be stopped, and element should be replaced and cleaned for reuse.
Honeycombed element is for one-stage fine filter element with precision of 5μm.
Elastic coupling is for gear pump and motor. Oil pump is equipped with relief valve (adjusted to 150%PN of regulated highest pressure) in case of mechanical accident. The valve can be set at a lower value as users require. But generally it’s not allowed to be adjusted at the highest value without the regulated range.
Gear pump and motor are installed on mobile chassis, the liquid from oil pump enters filter cartridge through oil outlet pipe directly.
The gear of gear pump is supported by bearing and lubricated by the oil which is transferred by oil pump itself.
Coarse filter is mesh type, installed on oil pump with the function of preventing big particles entering oil pump and causing damage. After the bolts on coarse cover are dismounted and cover removed, the filter mesh can be cleaned directly after that. When contaminants are filled in the filter, the capacity will get smaller and the mesh may be broken. Thus, the coarse filter mesh shall be often noted for cleaning.

4. Adjustment & Test Run
Every time filter element is replaced or cleaning for reuse, tightness of combined element shall be check to ensure good filter effect.
Rotate oil pump shaft for 2 or 3 circles before starting up manually. If it turns out to be flexible with any no blockade, oil inlet and outlet pipes shall be connected well. Any blockade, air leakage or inside contaminants shall also get checked for the inlet and outlet pipes in advance. Only after the procedures above are completed, can the equipment be started.
The correct rotation direction of motor is as what the arrow on the pump shows. If the arrow gets destroyed, rotation direction of motor which is clockwise shall be observed.
If it operates well, oil suction will carry out after several seconds when the equipment is started. If oil suction doesn’t work within half a minute, it indicates leakage in the suction side of oil pump. Then operation shall be stopped. Have another try after the fault is removed to prevent gear pump being damaged on condition of no lube oil.
If the indicated value of pressure gauge is high（0.4～0.6Mpa）after starting up of the equipment, and there is abnormal sound of oil pump, the operation shall be stopped for fault pick up and removal.
5. Operation Instruction
A、For the density of ordinary particle and impurity is bigger than that of oil. The oil inlet shall be connected to the lowest point as far as possible for adequate filtration of particle and impurity.
B、In order to keep oil inlet sucking air foam, oil outlet pipe shall be placed below oil level.
C、During operation, note the indication condition of oil entering/drain pressure gauge at any time. When oil drain pressure is high, there will be deficient oil drain amount or overload operation. Then filter element shall be cleaned and replaced.
D、Note and check whether operation noise and temperature of oil drain pump and the corresponding motor are normal. Any abnormal condition shall be removed. It’s impermissible for pump and motor that temperature rises to 40℃（that is, the highest temperature should better not to higher than 80℃.
E、When the equipment is left being unused, oil shall be drain out to prevent pipeline corrosion and glue state under the condition of much water which will cause unnecessary trouble for cleaning and filtration next time.
